Spring Sports start with a bang

The spring sports season finally got under way on Saturday with the varsity baseball team playing in the Blackford Invite. The Apaches used 32 runs and 37 hits, including 6 home runs, to bring home the championship. Wabash topped Wes Del in the opening round 18-9 and then topped Muncie Central in the championship game

Nealis named to Top 100

Wabash senior Breyton Nealis was named to the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 100 seniors list. Breyton was the only TRC player so honored. Breyton will now have a chance to be selected for the top 60 workout, which helps the coaches select the Indiana All-Star team.

TRC Boys Basketball All-Conference

The TRC released the boys basketball all-conference team this week and two Apaches were honored. Breyton Nealis was named 1st team all-conference, while Andrew Adamson was named honorable mention. Congrats to both of these seniors on receiving these honors.

TRC Girls Basketball All-Conference

The TRC recently released the 2012-13 Girls Basketball All-Conference teams and three members of the Lady Apaches were honored. Claire Cromer and Kyleigh Hampton were named 1st team all-conference, while Lyndsie Thomas was named honorable mention. Congrats to the girls on a great season and on receiving these honors.

TRC Winter Academic All-Conference

The 2012-13 TRC Winter Academic All-Conference team has been released and the following Wabash athletes have been honored: 1st Team – Lyndsie Thomas, Sydney Enyeart & Nate Height Honorable Mention – Tyler Evans, Stephen Eilts, Jaclyn Lewis, Charlianne Pardo, Katelin Vogel, Chloe Mullett, Biz Hobson & Julie Gleason Congrats to all of these student athletes

Driscoll signs with Grace

David Driscoll signed yesterday afternoon to play Tennis next year at Grace College. Driscoll was a 4 time 1st team all-conference performer and also helped lead the Apaches to 4 TRC titles and 2 Sectional championships in his tennis career.

Sport Basketball Varsity Boys Home Score 71 Away Score 78 Game Recap The Apaches end the regular season at 7-13 after a 78-71 loss to Elwood. A trio of seniors were in double figures to lead the Apaches; Andrew Adamson 14, Tyler Brewer 13 and Breyton Nealis 12.

Varsity Boys pull out 95-93 win over Eastern in OT

The varsity boys moved to 7-12 on the season with a 95-93 win over Eastern in overtime. The Apaches were led by Breyton Nealis and Andrew Adamson, who scored 21 & 19 points. Wabash will be back in action on Friday night against Elwood.
