The tournament started with a victory over Northfield on Friday, December 28th at Manchester High School. The score to that game was 78-29. It was a total team victory with 5 players scoring double figures. Kallen Kelsheimer lead the way with 13 points. Jared Holley added 11 points. Logan Vander Velden, Elijah Vander Velden, and Trenton Daughtry scored 10 points apiece.

In the Championship game on Saturday, December 29 against Southwood the varsity boys basketball team won a hard fought game 57-54 at Manchester High School. Trenton Daughtry lead the way with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Dereck Vogel had 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Elijah Vander Velden had 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks. It is the first Wabash County Championship since 2005. Varsity boys basketball team will be in action this Friday, January 4th at Southwood for a tough TRC game. The C-Team starts at 5 with the JV and Varsity following.

We had three players make the All Tournament team. Congratulation to Jared Holley and Logan Vander Velden. Trenton Daughtry was named the MVP of the Tournament. Also a congratulations goes to Zack Reed winning the Bill Rogey Award.
