The Wabash High School boys cross country team took 3rd place at the IHSAA regional hosted by IWU Saturday morning, avenging the sectional loss to Huntington North from the previous week. With this finish the Apaches will advance to their 4th consecutive semi-state meet next Saturday at Huntington University. Zack Reed led the Apaches with a 5th place finish. Dave Ford finished 13th with Jarrett Wilson 16th. Kaden Vogel and Caelan McDougle finished 21st and 22nd. Troy Guenin-Hodson was right behind in 25th place. Trevor Daughtry came in 45th with a new PR in the process. Lifetime PR’s were also achieved by Guenin-Hodson, McDougle, Reed, and Vogel. In the semi-state the Apaches will compete against the 5 team qualifiers from the Elkhart, Fort Wayne, and Delta regionals.
