The Wabash HS girls took a trip to Marion to compete in one of the largest invitationals on September 1st. The Lady Apaches competed in the Red Race, giving them the advantage to run against schools similar in size.
Each of the Lady Apaches came in with a season best time while competing with 84 athletes in the invitational. Senior, Whitney Working, medaled after placing 14th with a time of 22:29. Next came Sophomore, Sierra Hall, placing 53rd with a time of 26:03. Junior, Camille Kugler came in 68th with a season best and personal best time of 27:53.
The Lady Apaches all best seasonal records by a minute or more after having a taste of the Conference and Sectional course. Next week the Wabash High School Girls will travel to Hartford City to the Blackford Invitational.
